330ml bottle. Almost black colour with dark brown shimmer and huge, thick, firm, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, minimally toasty, dark and caramel malty, minimally nutty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, hints of dark caramel, chocolate, slightly waxy hoppy overtones, whiffs of toffee and Brazil nut. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, minimally sweet caramel malty, minimally nutty, bitter and minimally metallic hoppy overtones, hints of malt lozenge, dark caramel, a touch of dark chocolate, burnt coffee, iron rust and blood; all in all slightly diluted flavours. Watery texture, dry and minimally repellant, metallic palate with a minimally cloying effect nevertheless, lively carbonation. Relatively rich assembly of malt flavours, sadly a bit anaemic, diluted and shortened or hampered by the overcarbonation in the end. Bummer!
