Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, bread notes, light to moderate hoppy, light alcohol. Bottle, 22oz. An almost clear one, golden to amber in color and with a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is piney and resiny, with malty sweetness, and some alcohol notes. It’s quite bitter and warming on the palate, with soft carbonation and flavors of malty sweetness and pine cones. Lasting finish with a solid dose of bitterness. Overall, a nice one, but a bit rough and not superb. 130216

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a small off-white head. Lightly oxidized burned caramel in the nose. Rich body, burned caramel, slightly woody and spicy with enough hops in the finish to prevent it from ever getting cloying. 160213
