Who By Fire answers the question "what might happen if an altbier was made in Bamberg?". Our take was brewed with German pilsner and munich malts, English pale chocolate, flaked barley and beechwood smoked malt. Who By Fire was hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrüh, Saphir and Styrian Golding. It was then fermented cool with our favorite German ale strain.

16 oz can picked up at Special Brews. Canned 3/27/23. Lots of smokey malt character start to finish, but remains a refreshing and easy drinking brew. Toasty, smokey nose. Crisp taste up front. Cool middle, bready malts, soft spicy almost rye like notes with a somewhat dry, smoked finish. Really enjoyable brew here.
