Bottle from local Polish shop – drank at home. Pours a bright ruby with a sizable frothy deep cream head. There’s mushy fruits and dark bread in the aroma. Malts to the fore in the mouth initially, but dark dried fruits soon come and eclipse them. Along with caramel, bread crusts, liquorice and (increasingly) alcoholic strength. Malts last into the fairly dry finish. This is decent – a bit like an alcoholic kvass.

Servida en pinta, color caoba oscuro transparente, espuma beige claro que tan pronto se eleva de forma efervescente como se disipa a gran velocidad. aroma a malta frutos secos, pasas, caramelo. El cuerpo es medio, más bien dulce, amargor muy ligero, poco compleja. En general es una cerveza bastante bebible y agradable, aunque fácilmente olvidable. Debo además decir que no encuentro casi nada en esta cerveza que me recuerde a una porter, más bien diría que es una dark lager decente, posiblemente me equivoque pero de porter para mi tiene bien poco

Clear chestnut brown with a tinge of red, and a frothy off-white, pale beige head. Sweet bready malt and a hint of yeast on the nose, and a sweet fruit malt taste, some syrupy caramel and a touch of bitterness softening the sweetness
