Bottle courtesy of Nisse666. Pours dark wooden borne with a small brownish beige head that doesn’t leave much trace while dissipating. Smell is sweet, malty and fruity with dark bread, glue, lemon hard candy, alcohol, plums, overripe grapes, lemon zest, resinous wood and liquorice root. Taste is sweet, bitter, salty and tiny sour with soy sauce, charred wood, dark bread, lemon juice, burnt caramel, moist leaves and liquorice root. Mouthfeel is tiny round, slightly tart, tiny dry and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, bitter, salty and tiny sour with resinous wood, soy sauce, liquorice root, dark bread and lemon zest. Too much soy sauce...

Bottled at Linköping Beer Expo. Hazy dark brown, coarse head. Citric nose. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy cloying tartening caramel followed by sharp sourish bitterness. Disharmonic as few others.

Bottle at Operagrillen
The color is almost black, with brownish compact head, reducing quickly. Mild aroma of bread, malt, caramel, with a delicate fruity touch. Good body, strong and full, with round mouthfeel; it helps that the carbonation is relatively low and there is some residual sweetness; caramel flavor with a pleasant chocolate side; the bitterness is correctly low; in the very end there is some light liquorice too.
Well brewed and pleasant.
