Here we have a wonderfully sweet during yeast dark German bocköl at 7.6% ABV. Boccanegra malt provides color and burned richness and ecological Spalter Select Hops sounds like a hushed echo in the distance.

Bottle at Operagrillen
The color is almost black, with brownish compact head, reducing quickly. Mild aroma of bread, malt, caramel, with a delicate fruity touch. Good body, strong and full, with round mouthfeel; it helps that the carbonation is relatively low and there is some residual sweetness; caramel flavor with a pleasant chocolate side; the bitterness is correctly low; in the very end there is some light liquorice too.
Well brewed and pleasant.
