Fields of Time is an unfined West Coast Oatmeal Double IPA brewed with a slightly untraditional base. A unique blend of 2 Row, Pilsner Malt and Rolled Oats lay down an ultra pale appearance with an uber soft, yet dry mouthfeel. The brewers dumped a huge blast of hot side Simcoe and Mosaic hops. After that, they got crazy with a dry-hop blend of Strata mingled with even more Simcoe and Mosaic. The end result is mind bending flavors of mandarin infused pound cake with sweet pine needle whipped cream and sticky strawberry sauce on top.

4 pack of cans picked up at Stoup Kenmore. Fun collab of a local favorite, and a PDX brewery I somehow still haven't made it to. Bright, juicy, moderately hazy appearance to this big west coast brew. Patchy, sticky foam head and lacing. Aroma has some dusty grains, amd juicy orange fruit. Flavor had a nice mandarin, juicy orange fruit punch to it. Moderately bitter throughout, but falls short of being overly aggressive. More of a late lingering, grassy, citrus hop bitter, which rounds out what is ultimately an easy drinking west coast double. Poured this can, but the first couple were enjoyed straight from the can. Really fun and tasty imperial here.
