Draft pour pint enjoyed at Hop and Hound. A near black appearance, cola fizz head, moderate lacing. A nice toasty front to this, with a lingering bold bitterness. Soft cocoa and malt nose. Subtle. Smooth drinking stout. I didn't quite know what they meant by summer stout at first but it makes sense now. Flavorful, bold, yet also has a refreshing side to it. Not picking up a whole lot on the orange peel, but I feel like it's there. Expected a more or less plain stout, and was happy to enjoy a unique, flavorful brew. Another solid one from these guys.
