Alpenglow is a new hazy IPA that is an evolution of our Reuben’s Crush series, with the same selection of malts that are bulked up to give a slightly higher ABV, which adds a bit more body to the beer. Adam’s Notes: This beer features Sabro in a hazy IPA as a supporting hop. I always think of hops as being able to take leading or supporting roles. I feel that Sabro can overpower a beer as a leading hop, as it has elements of coconut and cedar that I believe need blending out. But as a supporting hop - used in the 20% share of total hop bill - really rounds out the tropical fruit profile of a beer, enhancing the ripe fruit elements of a hop profile.

16 oz can poured, gifted by Matt. Thanks! Solid hazy from some solid folks here. Dense, juicy orange pour, moderate to heavy carb, rocky foam head that slowly fades. Really nice flavor of juicy orange fruit, citrus hops, creamy oats. Refreshing flavor that tastes nowhere near 7%. Soft mango and peach tones linger here. Very tasty hazy.
