Draft only. A continuing study in the roles that terroir and personality of individual malts play in an elaborate scheme of mixed-culture fermentation. Equal parts floor-malted pilsner and white winter wheat provide the foundation for this creamy and decadent libation. These soft yet rich grains transform into flavours of pineapple upside-down cake and fresh bakery, along with a quenching tart finish.

Brewed with barley and wheat grown and malted by Mecca Grade Estate Malts in Madras, OR.

32 oz growler poured, filled at Hop and Hound, and listed as the first keg to leave the brewery. Awesome! Everything I've sampled so far has been amazing, and now that I got a full 32 oz of one, it likely became the record for fastest I've ever finished one. This brew is amazing. Golden orange pour, on the darker side, a moderate, off white foam head. Rich grains, and a slightly tart impression on the aroma. Very inviting. Cool forward flavor, touches of wheat, a funky constant. Hints of lemon bar, and tropical fruit, with no sweetness coming through. Just barely tart. Nowhere near a sour saison here. Really nice malt bill here. Full of flavor, and this has to be one of the most refreshing and enjoyable saisons I've had in quite a while. I really need to get down to Fair Isle and buy two of everything they have. Loved it.
