500 mL bottle poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. Stoked to be seeing bottles from these guys showing up at my Single Hill supplier on the west side. This beer just sounds fantastic, and I actually assumed it was a sour, until I tasted it, then began studying the label. Pours a beautiful ruby red color, mostly clear, lots of cherry tinted loose foam head. I love the way this brew captures both the wine and cherry on an even level, both without overpowering the base. I haven't tried the base beer by itself, but it's clear that this is a Belgian golden. Smooth aromas of cherry, and oak. Vanilla comes through in the flavor nicely as well, as advertised on the bottle. Overall, an amazing brew here. Guess I better go pick up the rest of the series. Love this beer.
