Finally enjoying a Ravenna beer without having to go to Ravenna! Belgian style saison, clearly different from the Farmhouse Saison I had from them a couple years ago, per my notes. Golden pour, soft haze. Thin, oily head. This saison really is Belgian dominated. Has that floral and bubblegum combo on flavor and aroma, from quite a distance. Can a beer be too Belgiany? Is that a thing? Hints of spice to this one. Its flavorful, and has a refreshing finish. Slight lemon like zest without the tart. It got better as it went. Pretty good.
