Draft pour pint, followed by a 32 oz growler fill, all enjoyed from Hop and Hound. Not the usual suspect for my pint fills, and especially my growler fills, as far as style goes, but I've been really impressed with the products coming from Yakima lately, especially Single Hill, so I figured I'd take the assumption that they could nail a style perfectly that I cant seem to remember one I truly enjoyed enough to recall. Enjoyed after the Single Hill hazy IPA, which was fantastic, but I'll save the notes for it's own review. A dark, but thinner copper red pour. Medium fizz head that lasts. Moderate roast, flavorful alt overall. Not too rich. Not too bold. Smooth and refreshing addition to the style. Really nice brew here.
