Draft 6 oz pour at Toronado, Seattle. Thick copper amber pour. Muddy pour for what is called an IPA, or some kind of roided up version of. At what point does an imperial imperial IPA become a strong ale? I'm guessing around 13%, aka this beer. Styles. What's in a name. Aroma is strong, boozy malt, dark fruit. Flavor is surprisingly smooth, pleasant. A flavor is can't describe meets me out front. Cantelope? Bold and rich boozy malt flavor, hints of maple? Hard to describe but easy to enjoy. Fun beer here.
