Crowler from Cloudburst. This will go down as one of my favorite Cloudburst memories, and there are plenty to choose from. Being a fan since they were first introduced, I've enjoyed every minute of trying all of their beers, and with that, goes sharing their incredible craft with others. I had the chance to visit Croatia recently, and before leaving for my trip, I was able to contact the local lone craft brewery in the town I was visiting to talk and share beer. So of course, I run down to Cloudburst, and snag a crowler of anything they have (because I know it will be good no matter what), and pack it away to take the 10 hour flight with me. A couple local offerings I brought along, but this was set to be the headliner. Also, it's great that a 32 oz crowler as enough to give all 5 people associated with the brewery at the time, as well as a half dozen other friends a chance to try this fine brew. A hazy orange juice pour. Always a great time when trying these new hops, and enjoying new profiles. Future looking bright! A ton of both citrus and tropical fruit. Pineapple being a front runner, over melon, and orange slice. Cream body, almost vanilla like. Smooth and delicious. Perfect amount of hop bitterness. A fantastic IPA here, as well as the memory surrounding it, which I always say, plays a huge role for me. I'll remember the brewer saying "Damn, this is really good, what kind of hops are these?", to which I reply "uhhh.. just a bunch of numbers.. 682.. 522.. uh.. some good ones obviously!
