Draft 5 oz pour at Hop and Hound. Enough to get the full idea in a beer like this. Though it's pretty damn good. I could do a pint of this one, just fine. Also, I really need to get out to visit these guys. One of the classics. A near black, mocha pour with plenty of espresso foam head. Aroma seemed to have a slight tart to it, but not enough for me to be concerned. Cocoa, vanilla, wine, whiskey. Quite a lot going on with the aroma. Flavor too. Cocoa powder reminder. Large amount of whiskey notes, as expected. Toasty coffee late linger. A fun showcase of the Woodinville whiskey in this. Warming. Good stuff.
