Draft 10 oz pour at Cloudburst. Pours a muddy brownish red color, with a semi thin appearance. Big bubbling head. Aroma is dark, spiced malts. Inviting. Almost has a slight cinnamon nose to it, though I don't know where that would be coming from. Dark fruit hinted malts, and a large grapefruit note to this. Interesting that blind, I would totally guess this as an IPA. Very hop heavy, with an interesting profile. A red IPA I'd call it, with plenty of hops that fall short of being too bitter. A good, filling winter beer here. Enjoyed this.
