The beer pours a dark copper caramel color. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Flavor has an obvious smokey element to it, which is pretty nice. Roasted. Peaty malt, rich caramel to balance. Lingering sweet and toasty paired finish. Definitely feels as strong as it is. Has a definite boozy side to it. Interesting scotch ale. Enjoyed it.
