Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark brown color with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of mostly chocolate with mild milky and roasty notes. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, bitter hops. Thin bodied.

Good for style. Some roasty malt with a good sense of barley profile. Pours dark with ok head and lacing - a little less than many of style. Finishes with light bitterness. Tap at brewpub in D.C.

Shirlington, as "Irish Dry Stout." Dark brown, almost black color, with a thick creamy tan head. As previous posters have noted, this is much like their Prohibition Porter. Roasted notes with chocolate and slight bitterness.
