Tried three times today! At the brewery directly from the tank with the brewer, at a restaurant and now from draft at Avalon in Chania. From the tank it was still a bit hazy but in Chania it’s mostly clear. It’s crisp with light malt, grain and light fruity hops. Clean and well made but not lacking flavour for a lager. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Tap (Cretan Brewery, Zounaki). Troszkę lepszy niż koncerniak, przyjemny słodowy aromat, w smaku trochę puste, wodniste, goryczka niska.

Taster, brewery. Slightly hazy golden, medium and quite lasting white head. Just slightly bready nose with hints of sweetness - not much. Mild bitterness, slightly sweet. No real aftertaste. Lighter body. Nice, summery brew.

Bottle 330ml. A bit hazy golden colour, small white head. Sweetish, grainy, a bit tart nose. Light-bodied. Sweet and grainy. Musty. Meh. Needs more fresh sample.

250ml draught at Ali Vafi’s Garden, Rethymnon. Decent white head, laces well, close to clear golden body. Smell of grain and grass. Moderate taste profile of grainy fruits with a touch of lemon. Short, dry bitter endnotes. Quite refreshing with fine drinkability. (11.06.2017).

Nice refreshing lager.
Hazy golden color with a fine frothy white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Malty, herbal, mild fruity and mild citric flavor.

On tap at Charma’s kiosk, Athens Craft Beer Expo. Pours orange/amber with nice creamy white head. Surprisingly sweet and fruity for a lager. Hints of lemon, grass, herbs, cereal, caramel. Well balanced, good carbonation, light to medium body, fair lacing. Well done, Crete!

Draught at Carpe Diem Platanias. Slightly hazy yellow color with a nice,thick white head. Sweet malty taste and aroma , well balanced by some bittering hops.
