Got a whole case of this beer, so I already tried several bottles. The bottles look really good, nice label, nice cap. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black, nice head. Starts mild, sweet-malty, interesting notes of chocolate. Not very dry. Mild-yeasty. Finish still mild and sweet. Could be a bit more intense and dry, but still a great dark hefeweizen!

Bottle. Banana and chocolate malt aroma - very nice. Cloudy dark brown color with nice head - the darkest dunkelweizen I’ve ever seen. Banana, clove and molasses/chocolate malt flavor. Nice body. Excellent.

Bottle. Cloudy red, creamy brown head. Ginger and clove aroma. Roasted, spicy, banana, dark sugar, lemony finish. Medium frothy body. Bready finish. Better than expected.

(bottle) Cloudy, ruby dark brown colour with a beige and tall foamy head. Slightly dusty and yeasty, toast-malty aroma with an ashy touch, notes of chocolate and a restrained berry-fruity touch. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty, dark malty and moderately wheaty taste with ashy notes and a shy fruity touch; a bit slim and slightly sweet and bitter toasty finish. Middle-of-the-road Dunkelweizen. 23.I.11

Bottle: deep amber coloured, presumable hazy, medium-sized, persistent brownish creamy head; sourish-lemony nose with a subtle toasty-caramelly tinge; light to medium bodied, soft; light sweetish-sourish flavour; increasing caramelly flavours towards the sweetish-sourish finish. Not the worst Dunkelweizen......
