At a small pizza restaurant in Bamberg. For the style, the aroma of roasted malt is quite strong and prominent. Some grain and bread, but also banana and sweet wheat. On draught. This was good.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with stable very light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, grain and caramel. Bitter hoppy taste with clear, sweet notes of yeast, grain and malt. Dryish, creamy aftertaste. A decent thing.

Milder, dunkel hefiger Antrunk. Wenig saures Finish. 9/8/8/6/7/6

500ml bottle. Hazy, darkest brown colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, lasting, lacing, tan head. Wheaty, yeasty, slightly toasty dark malty aroma. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, minimally spicy yeasty and wheaty overtones; notes of treacle in the finish. Not bad.
