Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a medium head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of honey, apple and faint rye notes. The taste is fruity hop notes, apple, rye and pear. Some faint nutty notes. Medium bodied.

On tap. Poured a pale gold/yellow with a medium white head that dissipated quickly to a film around the edges. Aroma was sweet with malts and of course honey with the rye providing just a bit of underlying darkness. Flavor begins sweet with grains, honey and a bit of grassy hops and the rye flavor grows nicely to the finish.

On tap at Walldorff. Hazy orange-brown body, thin buff head. Light sweet honey aroma. Sweet honey body balanced by spicy, fruity, bready rye malts. Fairly simple but not bad.
