This big, bold, roasty stout was brewed with copious amounts of English crystal malt and roasted barley then hopped to 90 IBUs. After 3 month in Stein Distilling Bourbon barrels strong notes of whiskey blend beautifully with subtle wood.

Draft 7 oz pour at Toronado, Seattle, for their Rye Barrel event. A dark brown pour with a dark brown fizz head. Aroma is heavy on the rye, with a toasty background. A cool flavor with a chocolate malt. I feel like their are some festive spices here. Gingerbread maybe? Mixes well with the rye. Good barrel impression. Good flavors here. Nice BA imperial.
