Draft 7 oz pour at Toronado, Seattle for the rye barrel event. Such a cool idea for an event. Wish I could try them all, but instead, I’ll surprise everyone I know, and start with the Cloudburst offering. Damn this is good. Dark cola brown pour with a thin fizz head. Gentle rye, obvious coffee, rich chocolate and vanilla aroma. Lots going on. A chocolate, coffee, and breast malt front, with an exceptionally smooth whiskey latter. Proof that Cloudburst is so much more than hops. Delicious. Loved it.
