Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice small head. Starts fine malty, light spicy, some light sourish hints. Finish grasy-malty, but well balanced. Not bad.

500ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Frothy white head that laced very well. Slightly misty golden body. Mid-sweet grainy malts on the nose. Rather discreet taste profile of noble hops and pale malts. Distant malt-driven end. Mealy on the swallow. Accepted. (Session with djoeye and Finn, Tromsø 25.05.2018).

What a lovely label! Lovely on the outside but…..Festbier? My godnesss. Not much fest in this one. Quite dull and boring stuff.
Clear golden color with a fine white head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Caramel malty and herbal flavor.

(Bottle) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with bread, peaches, citrus and slightly buttery malt. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, pineapple, peaches, grass, hay and a gentle grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a soft and chewy malt character. A touch of sweetness. Hardly exceptional, but tasty and well made. Quite nice.

Bottle (from Bier Zwerg). Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some herbs, mild grains as well as some slight earthy notes. Flavour is bready, grainy and some sweet malts to it along with mild herbal, earthy and grassy notes. Wellbalanced, and would most likely suit food really well.

Bottle 500ml (BZ, BB 06/2015)
Clear golden color, small white head. Malty, a bit sweetish and grainy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Sweetish malty flavor with light green apple, grain and honey. Bitterness is low, light grassy notes. Quite typical German festbier without faults or big suprises.
