22 oz bottle poured at Kyle and Aubrey’s. Dark amber pour with a ton of foam head. Caramel-ish malt aroma with a hint of mixed berry. This one didn’t add up very well for me. Balance was crooked. True malty brown ale base, with a strange, and dominant berry sweetness to follow. Grape like impression. Slight metallic in both aroma and flavor. As it goes, the berry mellows a bit, and the brown ale base comes through big. Interesting beer here, and one unlike anything else I’ve had before, which I enjoy. A little too much berry for me, but I can’t complain too much. It’s supposed to be there. Interesting beer, a fun try.
