Aroma has alcohol, some woody notes, cocoa, porto an even some elements I usually find in whiskey barrell imperial stouts. Flavour has alcohol, woody notes and some porto. Ash and licorice in the finish. One can easily feel the alcohol here, but it is not that disturbing.

Pours pitch black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, alcohol, wood, vinous notes and hints of molasses. Taste is strong, warming and roasty with loads of vinous woody notes, slight hints of berries and vanilla. Finish is smooth, warming and roasty with vinous notes and some berries. Quite complex and heavy, but surprisingly well balanced. The port notes give it a nice touch.

Bottle 330ml. @ Sour & Bitter #2, Festsalen, Store Kannikestræde 19, Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark black brown colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, meat, wood, port, alcohol, licorice - sweet licorice notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, port, dark malt, port - alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. Bottle at Sour & Bitter #2, pours jet black with a very small brown head. Aroma of port wine upfront, followed by roasted malt, and some very dry cocoa. Flavour is totally overtaken by the port wine, with secondary notes of roast and dry cocoa. Low-to-medium sweetness, with a moderate vinous quality. Not as elegant as the regular Even More Jesus, but with an added layer. Excellent stuff, but I prefer the base beer.

Bottle. Pours black with brown head. Nose and taste of fudge brownie, port wine, chocolate, black licorice, oak and vanilla. Full bodied.
