Draft pour to a schooner at Crucible. Pours a dark and dense brown with a thin film head. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a saison that looked like this. Brown ale with saison yeast. Love the expirimental side of this. Bold malt aroma. Flavor is sweet up front, with a slight metallic side. Rich. Has a doughy malt side that irritates a bit. Overall too rich and sweet. Fun experiement. Needs work.
