We went all crazytown with this golden ale and brewed it with wildflower honey in addition to 6 varieties of dried flowers - elderflower, lavender, rose buds, marigold, hibiscus, and chamomile. You know, stuff butterflies like. We added some honey malt and dextrapils for body, and balanced it with Polaris and Saaz hops. The end result is such a sexy, sexy pretty little thing. Draft pour at Cloudburst, pregaming for SIB. Gotta take care of number one first! Lighter golden color pour with a lasting fizz head. Listed at 5%, 15 IBU. I didn’t expect to be thrilled with this one, but these guys seem to make everything above average to say the least. Floral sturdy aroma with a honey sweetness. Slightly herbal, big floral. Honey tea late linger. I’m sad it took me this long to figure out the name inspiration. Just needed the commas I guess. But who cares about that. Very nice beer here.
