On draught at the tap room. Dark brown color with a creamy tan head that dissipates steadily to a dense film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Light-bodied with flavors of charred malt, milk chocolate and coffee. The finish is creamy with a roast coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.

For some reason, I was never familiar with Dr John, or the songs. So I figured I would listen along as I enter this rating, to get the full experience. If only I was enjoying the beer again. Poured on nitro at Cloudburst. Pours a jet black with a tan nitro cream head. Coffee and malts aroma. Super creamy body, with a milk chocolate and bold bitter coffee remainder. Drinks very nice up front, but ends on quite a bitter note. Pretty good overall.
