Poured into a mug, the appearance was a black color with a two finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace leaving some messy lacing.
The aroma started off with some sweet and roasted coffee and cocoa beans blending nicely. Some caramel malts trickle in and then a bitter edge of coffee grounds flowing in to coincide.
The flavor blends the roasty to the sweet with the coffee and cocoa intertwining nicely. Nicely blended aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body leaning towards the medium side and having a good sessionable sort of roasty punch on my tongue. Carbonation felt fine. ABV feels appropriate.
Overall, pretty good stout worthy of coming back to if I could get it.
