Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a semi-golden to orange sort of color with a thin white colored foamy film of a head. Mild lace.
The aroma had some citrus bitter rind and piney bitterness bold and up front. Sturdy malt backbone.
The flavor was mostly bitter through the citrus and piney components. Aftertaste is bitter with the pine and citrus rind. Finish seemed to bite a bit more than expected for an APA.
The feel sat between light and medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Sturdy carbonation and the ABV sat right.
Overall, a bit more abrasive in the hops department than I thought for an APA but I could still see myself coming back to if I could get it again.
