Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Dark chocolate, malt and coffee aromas. Medium body with flavors of bittersweet chocolate, malt, coffee and a touch of brine. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
