We wanted this beer to literally BURST with aroma, so we added a LOT of Galaxy, Mosaic, Equinox and fresh Simcoe hops late in the whirlpool for ultimate hop burst results. Dry hopping with Galaxy pushes this beer to its aromatic limits... passion fruit, citrus and a bit of pine in the aroma followed by a clean bitterness in the finish.

Sample at the tap room. Clear dark golden color with a medium thin white-head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops, and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, melon, and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft pour pint at the 192 lake trail taproom. Listed as Stoup Galaxy IPA. Clear copper color with a high fizz and sticky lace. Sweet tropical fruit hopped aroma. Slightly bitter up front, but completes with a sweet dominant tropical fruit headliner. Still love the galaxy hops. Overall a solid IPA. Final thought: what the hell is a stoup anyway? Update: Google knew.
