Figaro is a blend of sour blond ales aged in Chardonnay barrels for up to 18 months with dried white figs, lemon peel and orange peel. Elegant and complex, Figaro features flavors of dried figs, citrus fruit, apple skins and Chardonnay wine with a subtle “wild” edge.

Unexpected to be describing a 10.7% beer as floral and light. Definitely sour but not at all overwhelmingly so. Interesting, very complex.

Bottle at craig’s. Pours deep orange, nose is lemon, oak, light funk, caramel, grape, taste is tart, zesty lemon, sweet toffee, fruity, oak.
