Bottle, alu. It pours a brown body under a small, dense, dark beige head. Mostly roasted malts in the aroma, with some molasses, brown sugar and leather. Hints of vanilla. Cocoa notes, a good dash of molasses and brown sugar in the flavor. Some vanilla and leather too. It’s full-bodied and smooth on the palate, with a nice bitterness drying things up. Lasting finish with molasses, some vanilla and leather. A very smooth on, not your regular porter, but sure a fine one. 150620

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a decent looking dark brown to black color with a decent off white to white foamy head that died within less than a minute. Light lacing streamed itself all along the glass.
The smell had a lie roasty chocolate to light cocoa with a light bitter roasted coffee bean like aroma leading to a nice dark fruity plum-like ness.
The taste took all of those flavors and combined to taste really nice.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation sat fairly subdued but good for the style.
Overall, really nice Baltic Porter I’d have again if I could get it.
