Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A dark brown beer with a red shine under a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of nuts as well as light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet and very malty with light notes of roasted mal, nuts, and caramel - a very deep flavor, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is thin.

Cask gravity at Kent BF, Canterbury. The company have bought a micro brew kit which they have set up in the brewery to do test beers. This is a go at a cask mild. Black /ruby colour with lasting deep beige head. Slightly yeasty, dark mild aroma, choccy. Actually it’s really good, I hate to admit it of Sheps, but it is a very drinkable, nice, balanced dark mild.
