I Ike pineapple and I like passion fruit. NE Style IPA, not high on my list. Glad to try in any case, there is this 750 ml bottle of Cloudlifter I have in front of me. The lid is lifted and I pour into a tulip glass. It shows a cloudy, pale gold in color with a fresh but thin top of fine, white foam. The scent is inviting, I determine citrus and, yes, tropical also. My first sip, really not bad at all. Grapefruit, lemon rind, maybe some orange, a bit of indeterminate fruit sweetness and varnish. I like the touch of bitterness at the end. Certainly not my preferred style of beer but I am appreciating this brew.
