Iβve had Thunder Hug put away for over a year since buying a two-12 oz can stack-pack at The Cellar in Odessa. Surprised nobody has rated it before now. A barrel-aged imperial stout? Right down my alley, one of my favorite styles. I have a snifter from an Austin brewery for this pour, an extremely dark, mostly black body with brown highlights. The head comes in a medium brown and settles promptly. An inviting nose, dark chocolate with a boozy background. A drink ultimately, ah, nice. A big chocolate presence, caramel, cereal, berry and wood. Not the best imperial stout but pretty doggone fine
