My son occasionally gifts me with beers he is able to locate from his living in H-town. He has taken me to the Eureka Heights brewery and now I have a 12 oz can of Buenos Amigos from there. I pour into my Great Heights snifter and see an amber-orange body, unusual for a Belgian ale, with a light tan skim. Good carbonation accompanying. The scent is booze and grain with some medicinal tinge, not exactly a criticism. I take a full drink. Caramel, wheat bread, graham crackers and an indication of the barrels. Slightly sweet. Not great but an interesting effort from a Houston brewer.
