Let’s get going with this offering from Real Ale Brewing. They have put out a number of 22 oz bombers named after special American cars (Camaro and Nomad and such). Torino appears to be the newest. The label specifies best before 7/8/19. I am beating that by a little. I use my New Belgium globe glass for this pour, very dark body, more like a stout than anything. It gives a healthy, long lasting top of tawny brown foam. Hmm, the scent is stoutish too, malty and a touch of dark fruit. So what do we get with a taste? Sort of a stout and lager combo. Light with some chocolate, grain, pecans and a plum sweetness. Go figure.
