US STYLE PALE ALE Our distinctive American pale ale is full of big hop character but without the strong bitterness. Carefully selected American hops are added continuously during the boil and also during conditioning (dry hopping) to give a really fresh aromatic boost. This beer is mainly about hops but we have given it a malt backbone to balance the beautiful tropical fruit aromas. ALLERGENS: Wheat & barley malt

(Cask at Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival โ€™13) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good but a bit unbalanced beer.

Pours clear dark orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of grassy hops, hints of malts and fruits. Taste is smooth with hints of grassy hops, grapefruit, lemon and fruity notes. Finish is slightly hoppy with hints of lemon, sweetness and fruits. Okay, quite balanced and hoppy APA.

Cask@Southampton Arms, London. Amber colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity hoppy, wooden and a bit malty as well. Flavour is citrus, some slight tropical fruits, mild biscuity and bready notes finishing in a bitter fruity and wooden way along with some toffee as well.
