Thin beige head, mostly coarse, only forms after a few seconds, but doesn’t last. Opaque black body. Roasty earthy spicy aroma is kind of vague. Dry, and somewhat acidic, roasty earthy vinegary taste. Thinnish body. Mild, smooth mouthfeel. Dry-acidic burnt herbal spicy aftertaste. Infected. Drainpour. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Strømmen.)

Bottle at home. The colour is deep nut brown with a very small, light beige head. Aroma of nuts, roasted malt, wood and leather. The flavour is also well-roasted with more nuts, earth and burned wood. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. A roasted and typical British porter.

33 cl bottle at Basque, Göteborg, as Lambeth Walk London Porter. On September 10, 2014.Cost 95 SEK.Very dark red to black color, smallish but well visible brown head. Grainy, malty, some alcohol, a bit sweet, roasted, liquorice scent. Grainy, malty, lactic, mineral taste. Dry, roasted, ash, malty, mineral aftertaste. Medium to smooth, sort of low CO2 mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Hints of smoked malt. Not something I’d buy one more bottle of/one more pint right after for drinking.
