The flavor is of dark roast coffee and malt with maybe a little chocolate. Medium bodied. It seems like a light body for an imperial stout. The commercial description says subtle coffee. Hah. No, it's not subtle. There's a lot of coffee flavor here. It's good though. New rating from June 2022 - I had their latest coffee infused Midnight Retreat and found it much improved.It’s big on the dark roast coffee along with a hefty dose of dark roast malt, some chocolate, and a good balance. Full bodied. 8/4/8/5/17. Averaged with my first rating and I’ll give it a 4.0.
