tap at the brewpub - Very dark brown pour. The aroma is heavy on the ginger with some roast malt as well. The flavor is also full of ginger. It dominates the flavor with the roasty character taking a back seat. It's fairly light bodied for a stout. It's an interesting beer though I wish the base stout had a little stronger flavor to compete with the ginger.
