Tripel golden color beer brewed with water, barley & wheat malt, candy sugar, hop and yeast, homemade thyme honey which gives it a fruity, typical of the Mediterranean. The sweetness and spice of Salento thyme honey balance the moderate bitterness at the end. Sant'Irene is a strong beer, despite the initial impression of both innocence and lightness. The ideal pairing is with fat & juicy meat but it's also fabulous with structured cheeses and dry desserts like fruit tarts or pie pastry.

Il gusto al naso resta attratto alcolico, vino passito e frutta disidratata. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma ha una scarsa tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con carbonazione bassa. Il colore è quello del tè scuro. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è poco incisivo. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul tetto della bocca finiscono impressioni di miele, crosta di pane, nocciola, frutta secca, luppolo, agrumi, etilico, caldo e alcol molto presente.

Bottle 330ml.Clear matt medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, mesk - mash, caramel, mint, oxidide malt notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malty, fruity, minerals - mint. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121217]
