For our 3rd anniversary we wanted to make something special. The result is this Hazy Double IPA loaded with Australian hops. The first dry hop, made up of Galaxy and Vic Secret hops, was during active fermentation to give this beer its hazy appearance. The second round got the same hops and drove home the intense tropical aromas that these hops are known for. We used a simple malt bill in this beer to allow the hops to shine front and center. Cheers to 3 years here at Metazoa!

Backlog. Hazy orange pour with a small head. Very citrus heavy hop aroma. The flavor has a nice dose of hops bitterness and a lot of malty sweetness along with citrus and tropical fruit and some hop resin. I probably had this at Ted’s Beer Hall but I didn’t write down that part so I’m not positive.
