Bottle @ The 4th Annual Fastelavns-Tasting Ulfborg, 2013. Pours cloudy amber with a frothy head. Nose is dark fruit, oak, vanilla, fudge and chocolate. Full bodied.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, caramel, earth, soy, chocolate, pepper, wood, vanilla and hops.

Sample at the Central OH BA Tasting at From The Vine on 06/02/2012: The beer pours a dark reddish-brown color with a medium off-white head that lasts awhile. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, yeast and oak. Medium body with flavors of yeast, ripe fruit and subtle bourbon. The finish is sweet malt and yeast with a figgy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tap @ Funkwerks Taproom. A stop on grand tour of Fort Collins breweries and bars with Tim, Aaron and Armin, Thanks !! Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of yeast, lots of dark fruit, plums, raisins, vanilla. Taste is yeasty light spiceness, plums and other dark fruit, vanilla, oak, bourbon, light caramel. Medium body, soft carbonation, lasting notes of bourbon in the finish. Another great one 250212

Tap @ Funkwerks. Hazy, dark brown appearance with a tan head. Pretty rich aroma with lots of dark fruit (raisins, plums, blackberries), light barnyard, some spiciness, bourbon, light wood, and a touch of vanilla. Very tasty, somewhat spicy, toasted caramel/chocolate malty, mild to moderate bourbon, vanilla flavor with lots of dark fruit with a pretty smooth finish. This one was very nice.
