Tap - another one-dimensional, overly sweet, overly alcoholic take on a Belgian tripel/golden strong - strong honey, moderate lemon, light pepper, moderate floral notes, a touch of moneral - other than that and a lot of apparent alcohol, not a ton happening - disappointing from this brewery.

Aromas are floral, grainy, phenolic, medium esters, cornbread, malty alcohol, pear and isoamyl acetate. Flavors are citrusy, malty, bready, pear, esterys, and bright melon. Fuller carbonation, but less so than some of the others that day. Lightly warming.

From the September 2013 3R6P tasting +++ Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a hazy pale yellow color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy sugar, ripe golden fruits, bubblegum, bread dough and passion fruit. The flavor was tangy and sweet sugar, golden fruits, bubblegum, bread dough and passion fruit. Long tangy sugar, passion fruit and golden fruit finish. Only a touch boozy with a moderately thick and full body. Quite nice.

Capped 750 from LetsPour. Pours dishwater gold with a 3 finger creamy white head. Aroma of mildly sourish citrus. Full bodied. Flavor is citrous/lemon, some lightly bready malt, and some arguable Belgian yeast/spice. Certainly fruity esters. Banana? Maybe not. Finishes on the dry, lightly tart, mildly earthy side. There’s a bite to it. Tasty enough.
