Benevolent Commotion is a series of mix-fermented barrel aged sour ales. We use the same base farmhouse beer. Batch #2 was aged in Two-EEs red wine barrels and secondary aged with plums.

This beer is murky orange with almost no head, just some big bubbles around the glass. It smells mainly of brett with some underlying fruitiness. The flavor is tart and funky with a fruity, wine character. Interesting and tasty, it was clearly the best of the three beers I had.
